About the recipe
Fresh, vibrant and packed with goodness, this 10-minute pasta is one of those effortless meals you’ll make on repeat all summer. Sweet tomatoes, basil, olive oil and pine nuts are blended into a silky Sicilian-style no-cook sauce, then tossed through warm pasta with tuna, capers and olives for a bowl that feels light yet deeply satisfying. Not only is it delicious — it’s incredibly nourishing too. Tuna is a fantastic source of lean protein to support muscle repair and keep you feeling full, while also providing omega-3 fatty acids that support heart health, brain function and overall wellbeing. Combined with antioxidant-rich tomatoes, extra-virgin olive oil and fresh herbs, this simple pasta delivers a beautiful balance of protein, healthy fats and Mediterranean flavour. It’s perfect for meal prep, keeps beautifully for up to four days and is arguably even better enjoyed cold straight from the fridge. Think beach lunches, work lunches or an easy no-fuss dinner when you want something fresh, fast and genuinely good for you.

Notes & Inspirations
Meal-Prep Friendly
This pasta keeps beautifully in the fridge for up to 4 days. The sauce soaks into the pasta and becomes even more flavourful overnight. Store in an airtight container and give it a gentle toss before serving. Best Enjoyed Cold
While lovely warm, this dish really shines chilled. Perfect for summer lunches, beach picnics or straight from the container at your desk. I love to add a splash of red wine vinegar for a boost of flavour. Protein + Omega-3 Boost
Tuna adds a generous hit of high-quality protein along with omega-3 fats to support heart, brain and muscle health. For an extra protein lift, add extra tuna or a tin of white beans. Make It Plant-Based
Swap the tuna for: Cannellini beans - Chickpeas - White beans + grilled zucchini or broccoli. Still hearty, still satisfying and beautifully Mediterranean. Brighten It Up
A squeeze of lemon juice or red wine vinegar before serving lifts everything and makes the flavours pop.
