EMBELLISHMENTS
This beautiful chicken bone broth is the perfect blank canvas. Serve it simply as a cup of warm, nourishing broth, or turn it into a complete meal with a few thoughtful additions. Lightly whisk 1–2 eggs and slowly drizzle into gently simmering broth, stirring with chopsticks or a fork to create delicate egg ribbons. Season lightly with white pepper and a splash of tamari if desired. Add cooked rice noodles or soba for a comforting, satisfying soup. Always cook noodles separately and add to the bowl just before serving to keep the broth clear and light. Shred any tender chicken meat from the bones and return it to the broth for extra protein and substance. Finish with chopped parsley, spring onions, chives or coriander. A squeeze of lemon or can lift and brighten the flavour beautifully. This is everyday healing food — gentle, restorative and endlessly adaptable. Let the broth do the work, and keep the additions simple and seasonal.
