About the recipe

This bread is simply lovely to make and packed full of good things for the body. Apple adds fibre and antioxidants, while walnuts add a boost of omega-3 fats and protein for brain and heart health. Use a light flavoured olive oil to make this bread – you can also use a buttery macadamia nut oil. This bread / cake is naturally sweet from the large number of apples with only a splash of maple syrup. The cinnamon adds warmth, and feel free to add a little more if you like. This loaf makes a wonderful breakfast or an afternoon snack. Try making them into muffins too.
