About the recipe

Say hello to your new weeknight favourite dinner. This 15-minute healthy pizza is quick, simple and seriously satisfying — made from scratch using wholesome spelt flour and topped with rich tomato passata, creamy mozzarella and fresh basil.
There’s no yeast, no long proving and no fuss. Just a soft spelt dough that comes together in minutes, crisps beautifully on the base, and finishes bubbly and golden in the oven. Spelt flour adds a gentle nutty flavour and is easier to digest than regular wheat, making this pizza lighter yet still comforting.
Perfect for busy nights when you want real food fast, this homemade pizza delivers on flavour, texture and freshness — proving that healthy pizza can still be purely delicious.

This pizza is a great base for creativity — use any toppings you love or have on hand.
Swap mozzarella for creamy ricotta for a lighter, softer finish.
Try a spoonful of pesto or salsa verde in place of passata for a fresh flavour twist.
Finish with fresh tomato, rocket leaves and a drizzle of aged balsamic for extra brightness.
Serve with a simple green salad to turn this into a balanced, feel-good meal.
